LOGGING MALAYSIAN TROPICAL HARDWOODS

Round Tree Timber Sdn. Bhd. acquires logs through its own timberland resources from both swamp and hill species. Species like Meranti, Kapur, Keruing (Apitong), Alan Batu and Rubber Wood etc with logging volumes ranging from 500,000 to 650,000 cubic metres per year.

As the need arises logs are also purchased from local log suppliers that operate legal logging operations. Rountree Timber has a long term vested interest in sustainable logging practices for the value added products being produced in both sawmill and plywood plants.
