Solid Apitong Decking
Malaysian hardwood products such as solid decking for the open flatbed trailer and ocean containers are also produced from Apitong, Kapur, and Keruing. The main importance for these products is to avoid any warping. Because these decking products are of a solid one piece they are sawn with structural integrity in mind, carefully choosing the best angle to grain pattern for the required strength.

Rough Sawn Timber
Approximately 65% of the Malaysia hardwood products, such as rough sawn timber, produced for N. America is Kapur, Keruing. 30% is Meranti & 5% is made up of other species such as Selangor Batu & MLH.

Fingerjoint
Malaysian hardwood products such as fingerjoint, laminated structural beams & support posts are made from Apitong, Kapur, Keruing, MLH or Meranti.

Door Jamb
Malaysian hardwood products such as Door jambs are made from Agathis, mixed hardwood or Meranti. Product is usually made up from fingerjoint edge glued stock.

Residential Flooring
Malaysian hardwood products such as Red Meranti is widely used to make T & G or E4E floorings for both outdoor and indoor purposes. Product length is 6ft to 19ft.

Laminated Flooring
Malaysian hardwood products such as Laminated floorings & scufflings for dry-van trailers are produced from carefully selected materials (Apitong, Kapur, Keruing), since the structural strength is the main requirement. Gluing techniques are important as well to prevent any delaminating. The Thermal Hot Oil machinery is especially designed for this purpose allowing for product up to 53 ft. in length.
